The Procedure Before Prosthetics

Receiving full or partial dentures is always exciting for our patients. It can mean an end to difficulty eating or speaking, and especially a new found confidence in your smile. However, many times a pre-prosthetic surgery is necessary before the placement of a prosthesis to ensure the new teeth fit correctly and will give you the benefits you’ve been looking for.

During your appointment Dr. Sedaros will explain to you the minor surgical procedure that  you may be needing before we can place your prosthesis. Below are a few of the procedures that Dr. Sedaros is experienced in performing:

• Bone Smoothing and Reshaping
• Removal of Excess Bone
• Bone Ridge Reduction
• Removal of Excess Gum Tissue
• Exposure or Impacted Teeth
